Type of strategy: Brainstorming and DiscussionCollaboration

Use to bond a Partners Pair group quickly. Generates energy. Utilizes listening skills, and how to share in a concise manner.

You interview a partner and then share with teammates what they learned.

  1. Teacher Provides the interview topic and states the duration of the interview.
  2. Teacher calls for think time.
  3. In pairs, Student A interviews Student B.
  4. Pairs switch roles: Student B interviews Student A.
  5. Partner paraphase.
  6. Pairs pair to form groups of four.

Rally Robin: Each student, in turn, STANDS and shares with the team what he/she learned in the interview

NOTE: This activity can be done in as little as 4 minutes. 30 seconds for Student A. 30 seconds for Student B. 30 seconds for each person to share about his or her partner. Adjust to meet your needs.
