Simulations and "role plays increase meaning, are highly motivating, and facilitate transfer of knowledge," (Wolfe 2001). Teams create a commercial to display knowledge.


Participants work in groups to write and present an impromptu television commercial regarding information learned in class. The goal of the commercial is to persuade the audience to purchase a service or buy the information presented. After several minutes of rehearsal, each team presents its commercial.



For larger groups and fewer concepts. In subgroups of 3-4, plan a television commercial for the topic you have received.  Subgroups will then meet to present to each other and vote which one to show the whole group.
