Learners are interviewed, each in turn by their teammates.  Create connections, learn about each other and bond a group.

Pre-assign groups, or allow the learners to create their own group of three.

  1. Assign a topic and set a time limit.
  2. Give team members time to record interview questions, if you have not provided them.
  3. On each team, one student stands, ready to be intreviewed by teammates.  You may want to use Prompts to Choose a Leader, or person to go first.
  4. Teammates interview the standing learner, asking open-ended, long answer, and true questions.
  5. When his/her time is up, the standing learner sits down and is thanked by teammates.  Appreciation is vitual.  May want to review virtual "high-fives", smiles, thank you's.  Even ask each other what shows appreciation to them.
  6. In turn, remaining learners stand and are interviewed by teammates.

Note: Using a turn-timer helps keep this on time.  The Kagan Turn timer is a great purchase as it keeps time for each team member, so you don't have to reset a timer each time.
