Intended Audience: StudentsTeachers

A modification of Graffiti Gist, this is used with a small number of people and a single source such as a podcast or video. Participants notice and wonder the content of the media and write their thinking on a shared notes chart pack page.

  1. Put a thinking frame such as a Johari Window or Venn Diagram for the topic on a chart pack page.
  2. Give each participant a single marker. Each participant should have their own color.
  3. As they listen to the podcast/video they add notes in the appropriate part of the frame.
  4. Encourage participants to interact with each other’s notes by adding borders or arrows.
  5. Curate the notes and share notes with peers using one of the sharing strategies in the database.
