Quiet Personal Reflection

Type of strategy: ProcessingWriting and/or Reflection

Learning styles: IN: Introversion and IntuitionIS: Introversion and Sensing

Provide individuals to quietly and independently stop at a mid-way point or at the end of new learning and write, think, type or draw what they have learned and what they will need to get to the next step.

Directions:

Research suggests that our brains need time for reflection and that we can only listen to about 12-20 minutes of comprehension before we need to chunck, file away in our brain and think.  Allowing reflection time often.  Especially for Introversion Intuitive learning styles (Myers Briggs).
