Push Back

Type of strategy: Group ManagementVisual Organizers

Try this to cut down on the distraction of a computer duting group discussion or direct instruction.

Directions:

When the presenter is ready to get participants’ attention for a discussion or direct instruction have them “push back” away from their computer.  They must push back longer than arm’s length so the presenter does not have to compete with the computer.
