Partners Pair Up

Type of strategy: CollaborationGroup Management

This ensures participation, and easy grouping. It also supports the concept of tribes or home base for safety.

1.     Partners put hands up and walk to find another group of two.

2.     Partners introduce themselves.   3.     The group decides what table they all four will move to, and they meet up at that table, moving all their belongings. It is valuable to have participants meet and learn from new people. This strategy will quickly create a group safety that is essential for learning.  It also meets the 21st Century Skills of working collaboratively with a diverse group.

NOTE: Use with Stand up, Hand Up, Pair Up to ensure all members have a partner and a small group of four. This is good to use with Three-Step Interview, Rally Robin, and All Write Rally Robin.
