CSI: Computer Strategy Investigation

Type of strategy: AssessmentBrainstorming and DiscussionCollaborationProcessingWriting and/or Reflection

Given a general topic, participants will use technology to learn about their specific area of interest. Upon completion of investigation, participants will explain their research strategies to peers using presentation tools of choice.

Directions: 

1.  Give general topic for research or teaching strategy.  Allow participants to select topic of interest and work individually or in pairs to find 5 facts about their topic.

2.  Work independently for 30 minutes using technology tool of choice.  List 3 search tools or search words

3.  Share what they learned and how they got there.  Participants use their own creative decisions to investigate and report.
