Intended Audience: StudentsTeachers

Learning styles: EN: Extraversion and IntuitionES: Extraversion and SensingIN: Introversion and IntuitionIS: Introversion and Sensing

Participants exchange change based on how helpful or creative each idea is. At the end they are left with some change as well as some great ideas.

Materials: If you are supplying the change, have random amounts of change in different denominations. Majority of the change should be pennies and nickels or the equivalent in your country. Make sure to have at least one quarter per table.

  1. Have participants write down their best takeaways.
  2. Then have them select change from either their change purse or from what you have put on the table. Each person should have at least two pennies and two nickles, perhaps a dime and a few should have a quarter.
  3. Have them go around the room finding a partner and sharing some of their best takeaway ideas from the time together.
  4. Have them exchange change based on how creative or helpful the takeaway idea was. (A penny would be helpful or creative, a nickle would be really helpful or creative a dime or quarter would be extremely helpful or creative.) At the end whoever has received a quarter will share with the group their most helpful or creative action idea.  (If the group is large, ilicit just a few quarters for people to share.)
