The Future Ready team in Beaverton School District brings professional learning to teachers through illuminatED. When the team visits a school, each teacher is able to select a lesson for their students that will be taught by someone from the Future Ready team. They take over an entire grade level at a time so that teachers are able to visit multiple lessons to get ideas for how to implement the lessons developed by the Future Ready team and how to effectively integrate technology in their instruction. To find out more about illuminatED you can visit the BSD Future Ready website. The lessons developed by Beaverton’s Future Ready team are available for other educators to use with their students.

This lesson uses the story The Three Billy Goats Gruff to engage students in the design thinking process to build a bridge. View the Google Doc for the lesson plan and details about what you will need to implement it.
