After learning about Soil, Rocks and Landforms with the 4th grade FOSS unit of the same name, students designed a plan to mitigate continued sediment release into the Toutle River as a result of the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens. This project was created by the Mount St. Helens Institute. They readily shared this project with us.
