A discussion on how educators can build classrooms that are informed by the knowledge that many youth have experienced trauma An introduction to trauma informed practices, such as knowing how to avoid student triggers and building student resiliency skills to cope with trauma An overview of a new e-learning course, entitled “Trauma-Informed Approaches in the Classroom for Sexuality Education”. This course is designed to help educators increase their awareness of trauma in the classroom, and to begin to identify ways to appropriately address the needs of their students.
