Please provide public comment on Oregon’s CTE State Plan Your Voice Counts As we work to co-create Oregon’s Career and Technical Education State Plan in response to the federal authorization of the Strengthening Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins V), we are committed to engaging with our community to get input, ideas, and inspiration around how we harness CTE as a lever for improved student outcomes, deep learning, and stronger communities. Please consider lending your voice through public comment or public hearings (details outlined below). Public Comment January 21, 2020 – February 25, 2020 Public comment will be accepted January 21 through February 25. A copy of Oregon’s proposed CTE State Plan can be found on the Oregon Department of Education’s website under Perkins V.

Thursday, February 20, 2020 State Board of Education Meeting: CTE State Plan will be presented to the Board and available for public comment
