Summer Opportunity (mid-June-mid-July): Research Experience for Teachers at H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest near McKenzie Bridge, OR
We invite applications from two middle or high school teachers for two Research Experience for Teachers (RET) positions at the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest near McKenzie Bridge, Oregon for the summer of 2019. We are recruiting teachers who are interested in developing authentic science and math experiences for their students. The successful participants will: • work side by side with a team of scientists who study how climate patterns influence relationships among plants, insects, and birds • develop local contacts in the scientific community • receive a $6,000 stipend upon completion of all the requirements (plus funds to buy classroom supplies!!).
