The United States Patent and Trademark Office will host its sixth National Summer Teacher Institute on Innovation, STEM and Intellectual Property in Charlotte, North Carolina. This training opportunity combines experiential training tools, practices and project-based learning models to support elementary, middle and high school teachers in increasing their knowledge of making, inventing and innovation. Participants are introduced to teacher-friendly materials designed to enhance student learning and inspire the next generation of inventors, entrepreneurs and problem-solvers. The institute is open to teachers nationwide and is fully funded (airfare, hotel, meals). Apply by completing a straightforward online application.
