Math in Real Life RFA released

Thanks to the funding provided by the 2015 legislature, the Math in Real Life Grant for 2015 -2017 has been released and can be found on the STEM Education Grants page.

The Math in Real Life project supports the expansion of regional networks to create an environment of innovation in math teaching and learning. The focus on applied mathematics in grades 7 through 10 supports the natural interconnectedness of math to other disciplines while infusing relevance for students. Grants fund regional partnerships that will provide extensive professional development for math teachers in multiple schools and districts.

Applications are due January 15, 2016.

There will be a technical assistance webinar to go over grant requirements from 3:00 to 4:00 on December 7, 2015. A recording of the webinar will be posted when available. Click the link below to register for the webinar.
