Here are all the details! Russell Hanes has taught math from Pre-Algebra to Calculus for 12 years, and he currently teaches at Northwest Academy. Russell has been using GeoGebra for most of those years for Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics.

GeoGebra is a free, open-source math education software. It works on Macs, PCs, Chromebooks, smart phones, and more. Extensive pre-made lesson plans are available for free on the GeoGebra forums. GeoGebra is perfect for making demonstrations, for student investigations of new topics, and as a replacement for a graphing calculator.

Lesson 1 - Rat Island (30 minutes) - This is an Algebra 2 lesson on modeling exponential growth in a rat population. You will learn how to use spreadsheets, graph points, use sliders, and fit functions to points.

Lesson 2 - Quadrilaterals (30 minutes) - This is a Geometry lesson on constructing quadrilaterals using the diagonal properties You will learn how to use the basic geometry tools, like the compass, lines, and intersections.
