The is the open access site for the Math in Real Life project funded by the Oregon Department of Education. We have funded six projects around the state. Each project is working with teams of middle and high school math teachers to develop, teach, and revise math lessons that start with context. Those materials are currently being shared on a password-protected site and will eventually be released through Oregon Educator Network or some other open education resource. In the meantime, this site will have documents and links that are being used in the project. Feel free to use what we are developing and provide feedback that might help us improve those materials.

Our goal is nothing less than transforming the way mathematics is being taught for many Oregon students.
