Top three priorities for the role: Help all students be successful and graduate high school with an appropriate diploma. Find a way for students to be engaged and invested in their education. Build connection with students so that their social emotional needs are being met and can help them be successful.

9th grade on track meetings: Attendance/grade data, target students that are struggling. Meetings 6-12, grade level PLC. 9th grade success team: weekly or every other week. Celebrate Freshman for attendance. Monthly attendance competition between grade levels. 9th on track members: Freshman teachers, Freshman AG teachers, Admin, Data specialist, counselors, SPED, support staff. Leaders: Admin, teachers rotate facilitator, intervention specialist, counselor, data specialist.

Data brought to meeting: Attendance, grades, target students then get teacher input. Target on bubble students. Color code students: main focus on yellow students first, then red zone students. Identify red: Care Team Weekly, Student Intervention Team, Family Academic Support Team

Work with students: As individuals: pick up students who aren’t attending, check-ins with students to identify basic needs that aren’t being met, work with small groups of students, parent contact. ASPIRE mentor program.

Education Plan and Profile: Naviance & CIS. Voyager: input hobbies & interests and gives careers and then goes into detail about education. Path finder. Grade level advisors working through Plan and Profile with students.
