How can we advocate for exceptional students in our classrooms by leveling the playing field? Assistive technology (AT) gives the students the ability to take charge of their learning and not rely on others as much. In doing so, their confidence and motivation builds, and they feel pride where before they felt "stupid." In the end, teachers have more time to focus on others things when they do not need to hold these kiddos hands as much. Win-Win for everyone!!
