Join Mark Gaither of Wolfe Street Academy, Rosalind LaRocque of the AFT, Carrie Rose, an independent consultant, Jamie Womack of the Texas AFT, Tracie Potts and Helen Westmoreland of the National PTA, and Share My Lesson for this webinar on the process of decision-making during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Schools are no strangers to urgent decision-making. As the COVID-19 pandemic has shown us, school system leaders cannot always know what is around the corner, but what we do know is that the voices of our essential stakeholders must be heard and even influence decision-making, especially during a crisis. The American Federation of Teachers and the National Parent Teacher Association believe that, together, our essential stakeholder voices must be heard. To assist our members in that process, we have jointly developed and tested a stakeholder process and guide that can lift up parent and educator voices in the decision-making process. Thanks to the support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the AFT and PTA will share member experiences and this new resource in a one-hour webinar. The session is designed for member affiliates, school-site and district administrators, and community groups.
