This three hour professional development workshop will help you build confidence and fluency with high leverage, evidence-based instructional practices. These high leverage practices are the key to facilitating student (and staff) fluency, generalization, and maintain academic and social skills. The activities and examples will help you “dose up” these practices to reflect three tiers of instructional support, for academic and social skill development, within your own classroom.

Objectives, Participants will be able to:

1- Define and give examples of three high leverage practices,

2- Describe how to use these high leverage practices in place of ineffective, or contraindicated discipline strategies that rely on isolation and/or shaming (such as Buddy Rooms, Time Outs, Clip Charts, etc.),

3- Identify reliable, evidence based resources for boosting high leverage practices school-wide.

Cost: $75 per person
