All for Science and Science for All
This theme emphasizes the critical need to provide a high quality science education for all students. All for science indicates the teamwork behind a comprehensive science program. Formal and informal educators; elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educators; parents, teachers and community partners….we’re all for science! Science for all indicates the importance of equity in education and graduating scientifically literate citizens; that all learners need to be taken into consideration when planning and delivering science education. This conference focuses on the need for cultural relevance in science teaching so all students have access and can participate in the science journey to graduate scientifically literate citizens. Let’s utilize the science and engineering practices as the ticket to increase access and engagement.
