Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning, and Equity (SCALE) will be holding a free webinar on rubric development on Tuesday, October 3rd from 11 am-12:30 pm Pacific.

Scoring tools are a central component of any performance based assessment system. How do you design scoring tools that are valid and provide useful feedback for teaching and learning? This webinar will help you make decisions about the most appropriate type of scoring tool for your goals, and introduce you to features of a high quality rubric and a process for translating standards and performance outcomes into a score scale. We will use examples from SCALE’s wide range of rubric resources to illustrate different rubric features and decision points.

After registering, you will receive a separate email with the online access link. Look out for this email to arrive closer to the date of the webinar.

For any questions, feel free to contact stanfordscale@stanford.edu. We look forward to speaking with you and hope you are having a great start to the fall!
