Personal bio
2018-19 marks my 30th year as an educator. I was the business education teacher at Powers High School for one year and Mohawk High School for 10 years. In 2000, I obtained a position in the Harrisburg School District as the high school business teacher and district technology coordinator. The technology coordinator position became a full time position in 2004. It was reduced for a few years and I went back into the classroom part-time at Harrisburg Middle School, teaching 7th and 8th grade technology classes. That was great fun but now the position is full time again.
I have been happily married for 28 years to my lovely wife Rhonda. She is the assistant business manager at the Linn-Benton-Lincoln ESD in Albany. We have two wonderful daughters. Sarah is our oldest and she is married to Josh and they live in Great Falls, Montana. Sarah is a nurse and Josh is a youth pastor. They have a golden retriever named Charlie and are expecting their first child in January. A boy! Our youngest daughter Erinn is in grad school at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Irvine, CA. She is studying to be an Applied Behavioral Analyst with a focus on autism. Oh, we also have a cat named Toby.
My wife and I are so very excited to be grandparents!! We also enjoy being empty-nesters. We stay busy maintaining our home, watching NFL football and discussing the Dan Patrick Show. We are also very involved at our local church, where Rhonda leads our children's worship program and I serve as an elder.
